Eine Mid 50s Whiteguard Tele die sowohl optisch als auch tonal ihresgleichen sucht.

Auf Basis eines federleichten Ash Bodys wurde hier ein Instrument der obersten Kategorie gefertigt. Dieses edle Stück Holz wurde nicht nur nach Gewicht selektiert, sondern auch nach seiner Optik („highly figured Ash Body“), um die im Rahmen des Heavy Relic freigelegte Holzmaserung zu einem echten Eyecatcher werden zu lassen. Das „Thin Skin“ Finish in Aged Fiesta Red lässt dem Holz den nötigen Freiraum für herausragende Resonanz. Dazu gesellt sich ein Quartersawn Maple Neck, der die „Roadworn-Patina“ mit exzessivem Fret Ghosting kompromisslos zu Ende führt und dank klassichem 10/56 Soft V-Profil und modernem 10“ Griffbrett Radius in puncto Vintage-Feeling und Bespielbarkeit keine Wünsche offenlässt.

Doch damit noch nicht genug: in letzter Konsequenz gibt es noch handgewickelte Josefina Campos Twisted Tele Pickups obendrauf!

Das Resultat ist kaum in Worte zu fassen, diese Tele besticht durch messerscharfes Attack und schwingt, twangt, rotzt und grollt derartig, dass man sie gar nicht mehr aus der Hand legen möchte! Chapeau Fender Custom Shop!

A mid-’50s Whiteguard Telecaster that truly stands out – both visually and tonally.

Built around an exceptionally lightweight ash body, this instrument clearly belongs to the top tier. The wood was carefully selected not only for weight but also for its striking grain (“highly figured ash body”), allowing the Heavy Relic treatment to beautifully highlight the exposed figuring and turn it into a real eye-catcher.

The thin-skin nitro finish in Aged Fiesta Red gives the wood plenty of room to breathe, resulting in outstanding resonance and a very lively response.

Complementing this is a quartersawn maple neck whose pronounced fret ghosting perfectly completes the authentic road-worn patina. The classic 10/56 Soft-V neck profile combined with a modern 10" fingerboard radius delivers the ideal balance of vintage feel and effortless playability.

And as the icing on the cake, this Tele comes equipped with hand-wound Twisted Tele pickups by Josefina Campos.

The result is hard to put into words:

This Tele features razor-sharp attack and rings, twangs, snarls and growls in a way that makes it very hard to put down.
