Das selten schöne Double Gold Goldtop-Finish wirkt unglaublich edel und lebendig.

In Kombination mit der- je nach Lichteinfall- burgundy- bis kirschschwarzen Rückseite (Darkback) ein absoluter Eyecatcher!

Das Aging des Murphy Lab ist hier wieder einmal absolute Spitzenklasse:
feines Checking, leichte Abriebspuren und Dongs verleihen ihr einen authentischen Vintage-Charakter.

Tonal liefert sie dank der unpotted Alnico-3 Custombuckers einen trockenen, offenen und warmen Ton mit hervorragender Transparenz und Dynamik – genau das, was man sich von einer guten R7 erwartet.

Stunning Gibson Les Paul 1957 Standard Reissue (R7) from the Gibson Custom Shop, built in 2025, featuring the highly sought-after Murphy Lab Light Aged finish.
The rare Double Gold Goldtop looks exceptionally elegant and vibrant.
Combined with the burgundy-to-dark-cherry back (Darkback), depending on the light, it becomes a true eye-catcher.

The Murphy Lab aging is once again outstanding:
fine checking, subtle wear and dings, all contributing to a very authentic vintage character.

Tonally, the unpotted Alnico 3 Custombuckers deliver a dry, open and warm sound with excellent transparency and dynamics – exactly what you expect from a great R7.
