In Anlehnung an Eric Claptons persönliche Spezifikationen wurde das ursprüngliche Eric Clapton Signature Modell aus dem Fender Custom Shop mit einem neuen Journeyman Relic Finish noch cooler gemacht. Dieses Finish lässt die Maserung des zweiteiligen Ash-Bodys subtil durchscheinen und vermittelt das Gefühl, als hätte die Gitarre bereits unzählige Bühnen erlebt.

Sie bietet ein besonders weiches Soft-V-Halsprofil aus Ahorn, drei Vintage Noiseless™ Pickups, ein blockiertes Tremolo sowie Claptons Signatur auf der Kopfplatte. In Kombination mit dem geschmeidigen Spielgefühl und dem authentischen Klang des Originals ist die Journeyman Relic Eric Clapton Signature Stratocaster eines der feinsten Meisterwerke, die der Custom Shop hervorgebracht hat.

Based on Eric Clapton's personal specifications, the original Eric Clapton Signature model from the Fender Custom Shop has been made even cooler with a new Journeyman Relic finish. This finish subtly allows the grain of the two-piece ash body to show through, giving the impression that the guitar has already graced countless stages.

It features an exceptionally soft maple neck profile with a soft V shape, three Vintage Noiseless™ pickups, a blocked tremolo, and Clapton's signature on the headstock. Combined with the smooth feel and authentic tone of the original, the Journeyman Relic Eric Clapton Signature Stratocaster is one of the finest masterpieces the Custom Shop has ever produced.
