2021 Gibson Custom Shop ES-335 1964 Reissue VOS 60’s Cherry

Die Gibson ES-335 gilt seit Jahrzehnten als die Königin der Semi-Hollowbody-Gitarren – zeitlos im Design, enorm vielseitig im Ton und einzigartig im Spielgefühl.

Hier in der 1964 Reissue VOS Ausführung in 60’s Cherry Red aus dem Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville. Das dezente VOS-Finish verleiht der Gitarre eine authentische, zurückhaltende Patina und unterstreicht die klassische Aura dieser Ikone.

Bereits unverstärkt überzeugt sie mit hervorragender Resonanz; verstärkt liefert sie genau den offenen, warmen und gleichzeitig durchsetzungsfähigen ES-335-Sound, den man sich wünscht.

Von Jazz über Blues, bis hin zu Hardrock deckt diese Gitarre jegliches Genre ab.

Nicht ohne Grund wird die ES-335 von namhaften Kennern als „Burst-Killer“ bezeichnet.

Das 60s Slim Taper Halsprofil liegt hervorragend in der Hand und bietet eine perfekte Balance aus Vintage-Feeling und moderner Bespielbarkeit. Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist durchweg exzellent – auf dem Niveau der aktuellen Nashville-Produktion und klar über dem, was man von früheren Memphis-Modellen kennt.

Offered here is a 1964 Reissue VOS in classic 60’s Cherry Red from the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville. The subtle VOS finish gives the guitar an authentic and understated vintage patina while perfectly complementing the classic aura of this iconic model.

Even unplugged, the guitar impresses with outstanding resonance. Plugged in, it delivers exactly the open, warm and articulate ES-335 tone you would hope for.

From jazz and blues all the way to hard rock, this guitar effortlessly covers virtually any genre.

Not without reason, the ES-335 is often referred to by experienced players and collectors as a true “Burst Killer”.

The 60s Slim Taper neck profile feels exceptional in the hand and offers the perfect balance between vintage character and modern playability. Build quality throughout is excellent — fully on par with current Nashville Custom Shop production and clearly above what many players associate with earlier Memphis-built models.
