Diese handgewickelten US-Boutique-Pickups lösen das Problem bravourös: Sie liefern den echten, rotzigen und ungeschliffenen P-90-Klang mit kräftigen Mitten und spritziger Definition, unterdrücken Nebengeräusche aber komplett. Knurrig und direkt in der Brückenposition, warm und holzig am Hals – purer Rock 'n' Roll ohne Kompromisse.

Zusätzlich wurden die werksseitigen Nylon-Sättel der ABR-1 Brücke durch hochwertige Stahlsättel ersetzt. Das Ergebnis ist ein spürbares Plus an Direktheit, Saitentrennung und brillanten Obertönen (Originalteile liegen bei).

Crafted to historically accurate specifications – including the traditional hot hide-glue neck joint, a 2-piece maple top, the highly coveted long neck tenon, and a gorgeous, reflective gloss finish – this reissue delivers pure vintage mojo in perfection.

The absolute highlight of this Goldtop is the upgrade to a Lindy Fralin P90 Hum Cancelling Set. Anyone familiar with vintage-style P-90s knows the annoying 60-cycle hum on stage or in the studio. These hand-wound US boutique pickups solve the problem flawlessly: they deliver that authentic, gritty, unpolished P-90 growl with punchy mids and crisp top-end definition, while eliminating noise completely. Snarly and direct in the bridge position, warm and woody at the neck – pure rock 'n' roll without compromises.

Additionally, the factory nylon saddles on the ABR-1 bridge have been upgraded to premium steel saddles. The result is a noticeable increase in note definition, string separation, and brilliant overtones (the original nylon parts are included in the case).

The instrument shows its true class when interacting with its high-quality electronics. Just rolling back the volume control slightly opens up the tone beautifully: it gets cleaner and woodier without ever losing its fat foundation. This allows you to control the entire dynamic range perfectly straight from the guitar's volume pot.
