2010 Fender Custom Shop 50s Custom Telecaster Relic Candy Apple Red

Diese Custom Telecaster bringt alles mit, was man sich von einer guten 50s-Custom wünscht: klassischer Look, ein perfektes Gewicht und ein Setup, bei dem man sofort merkt, dass hier nichts dem Zufall überlassen wurde.

Optik:

Man kann sich an diesem Candy Apple Red Nitro Finish kaum sattsehen, je nach Lichteinfall schimmert der Gold-Undercoat subtil durch. Gerahmt in ein dezent vergilbtes White Nitro Binding wirkt das Relic absolut stimmig und unterstreicht dabei den Vintage-Charakter des Instruments, statt ihn zu dominieren. Well done, Fender!

Ton:

Der selektierte Lightweight Alder Body resoniert fantastisch, während die 51 Nocaster Pickups dabei den typisch trockenen, ehrlichen Tele-Sound liefern – klar, twangig und dynamisch.

Mehr kann man sich von einer Tele kaum wünschen!

Bespielbarkeit:

Der Nocaster-„U“-Hals fühlt sich sofort vertraut an, schön voll, aber keineswegs klobig.

In Kombination mit dem 9,5"-Radius hervorragend bespielbar.

Mit 3,4kg liegt das Gesamtgewicht definitiv im „Sweet Spot“ und ist perfekt ausbalanciert.

Fazit: Sowohl optisch als auch tonal eine Traum-Telecaster mit reichlich Vintage-Mojo.

This Custom Telecaster has everything you’d expect from a great 50s Custom: classic looks, ideal weight and a setup that immediately shows nothing here was left to chance.

Appearance:

It’s hard to get tired of this Candy Apple Red nitro finish. Depending on the light, the gold undercoat subtly shimmers through. Framed by lightly aged white nitro binding, the relic work feels perfectly balanced — enhancing the vintage character rather than dominating it. Well done, Fender.

Tone:

The selected lightweight alder body resonates beautifully, while the 51 Nocaster pickups deliver that typically dry, honest Tele tone — clear, twangy and dynamic. Honestly, it’s hard to ask for more from a Tele.

Playability:

The Nocaster “U” neck feels immediately familiar: nicely full but never bulky.

Combined with the 9.5" radius, it plays effortlessly.

At 3.4 kg overall weight, it sits right in the sweet spot and feels perfectly balanced.

Conclusion:

Visually and tonally a superb Telecaster with plenty of vintage mojo.
