1987 Fender American Standard Stratocaster – Made in USA

Frühe American Standard Strat aus 1987 – gebaut in Corona zu einer Zeit, als Fender sich neu sortiert hat und der Fokus wieder auf hoher Qualität lag. Genau das merkt man dieser Gitarre auch an.

Mit ca. 3,5 kg angenehm ausgewogen, resonant und sehr direkt in der Ansprache. Eine Strat, die sich sofort vertraut anfühlt und der Funke schnell überspringt.

Klanglich klassisch Strat, aber mit der typischen Klarheit der frühen American Standards: offene Höhen, stabile Mitten und ein definierter Bass. Clean transparent, angezerrt durchsetzungsfähig – vielseitig und absolut alltagstauglich.

Das 2-Point Tremolo arbeitet sauber und stimmstabil, der Hals spielt sich entspannt und unkompliziert. Insgesamt eine sehr ehrliche Strat ohne Show, dafür mit Substanz und technisch einwandfrei.

Keine „Mythos-Vintage“, sondern eine richtig gute USA-Strat, die einfach Spaß macht!

Early American Standard Strat from 1987, built in Corona at a time when Fender was refocusing and putting strong emphasis back on quality. You can definitely feel that in this guitar.

At approx. 3.5 kg it sits very comfortably on the strap, resonant and quick to respond. A Strat that immediately feels familiar and where the spark tends to jump quickly.

Tonally classic Strat, but with the typical clarity of the early American Standards: open highs, solid mids and a defined low end. Clean tones are transparent, overdriven sounds cut well through the mix — versatile and very practical for everyday playing.

The 2-point tremolo works smoothly and stays stable in tune, while the neck feels relaxed and easy to play. Overall a very honest Strat — no showpiece, just solid substance and technically flawless.

Not “mythical vintage”, but simply a really good USA Strat that’s a joy to play.
