Diese 1957 Les Paul Junior Single Cut im authentischen TV Yellow bringt genau das ungefilterte, rotzige Mojo mit, das man von einer echten Vintage-Ikone erwartet. Das Heavy Aging aus dem Murphy Lab ist ein absolutes Kunstwerk – jede Schramme, jeder Haarriss im Nitrolack fühlt sich an, als hätte diese Gitarre die letzten 60 Jahre in verrauchten Live-Clubs verbracht!

Mit perfekten 3,58 kg hängt die Junior wunderbar ausgewogen am Gurt. Der kräftige Mahagonihals mit 50’s Medium C Profil liegt satt in der Hand und sorgt für beinahe endloses Sustain. Trocken angespielt merkt man sofort, wie resonant das Holz schwingt – die ganze Gitarre vibriert spürbar gegen den Körper.

Am Amp sorgt der  P-90 Dogear Pickup für den typischen Junior-Ton:

Schmalz, Schmatz und eine Dynamik, die sich perfekt über das Volume- und Tone-Poti steuern lässt.

Das Sobrich-Fazit:

Eine kompromisslose Rockmaschine mit unfassbarem Ton und dem wohl besten Aging, das man aktuell ab Werk bekommen kann.

Plugged into an amp, the P-90 Dogear pickup delivers that signature Junior tone:
