Dieses Roy Smeck Signature-Modell ist die ultimative Verfeinerung der legendären Gibson Stage Deluxe aus den 1930er-Jahren. Wer den unverkennbaren, tiefen und majestätischen Sound einer historischen 12-Fret Slope-Shoulder-Jumbo sucht, findet hier den heiligen Gral. Durch den extra tiefen Korpus („Deep Body“) und den Halsübergang am 12. Bund besitzt diese Gitarre ein gigantisches Luftvolumen. Sie schwingt ab dem ersten Hauch und liefert ein Sustain und eine tonale Tiefe, die man erlebt haben muss. Mit gerade einmal 1800g ist sie außerdem erstaunlich leicht gebaut. Genau das merkt man vom ersten Akkord an.
